UFCW Local One BIG Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Program is funded through the UFCW Local One Health Care Fund. Benefits are funded entirely by negotiated employer contributions. Up to 1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Since 1993 our scholarship program has given more than 16,000 students nearly $14 million in scholarships. Scholarships may be used for accredited colleges or certified trade schools. Members, their dependents and their grandchildren are eligible. Click here to request a scholarship application online.

UFCW INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (Very Competitive)
Our International Union offers scholarships in each year. The UFCW International Union awards several scholarships of up to $8,000 each to UFCW members or their unmarried dependents. The scholarship application are available January 15th - March 15th of each year, and the winners are announced in late May. This is a HIGHLY COMPETITIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (Competitive)
Local One also offers three Memorial Scholarships in the amounts of $1,500.00 in total. Applicants apply in the Fall of each year and winners are awarded $750.00 in January and $750.00 in August. There are a total of 3 winners only. This scholarship is competitive. Applications are available now, and winners are announced in the Fall of each year.
